When the Sitar strings are plucked carefully and tunes come from the right place, then a music is produced that gives a feeling of dissolution. As it is important to pluck the correct string and also understand the gaps to produce pleasant music, in the same way it is important to cleanse and let energy flow properly through these gaps (energy centres) present in our prana shareer (energy body) too. In our body Swadhisthana, Anahat, and Agya Chakra each have one gap (From where energy moves inward and outward). When all the three chakras are penetrated then we realize the true energy of our body. Obviously if these are not cleansed then we cannot realize the pleasant tune coming from our Sitar-like-body. In such a case discordant and unpleasant life force energy is produced. When the three energy centres (chakras) are cleansed and penetrated by life force energy (Chakra bhedan) a sweet sound of divine awareness is produced. Devarshi Narad with Sitar in his hand also gives the same teaching in fact it is also said that the one who gives Brahm Vidya is Narad.
” नारं विज्ञानं ब्र्ह्म विधां वा ददाति इति नारदः।”
The six chakras present in the body are very subtle and so cannot be perceived as we perceive & explain any other part of our body like bones and muscles. Even seasoned Sadhakas fail to experience some of the chakras during their spiritual journey what to say about the petals of chakras, associated deity, matrikaas, tattva, color etc. Yet modern day seekers have made many theories around the Chakras. So much so that they can talk, discuss about these for hours. In fact they forget that whatever they are talking is just in their head without any direct experience whatsoever.
Rightly so; My beloved, Master AD says “Avoid engaging in discussions with on the subject of spirituality and Sadhana for discussions are done by intellectuals who operate from their intelligence, analysing tendency etc. while we Sadhakas operate from heart. Here Language becomes the biggest barrier for conveying experience so we miss their points and and if not then definitely they miss ours.”
People have started trying to find out chakras in the energy body. The Chakras although involved in bodily activities are not present in this material body as parts or organs. They are subtle energy centres on which focussed attention is practiced for cleansing.
When Kundalini Yog is practiced properly it leads to union of “Jivatma” and “Parmatma” It is also said that whatever exists is part of the divine. But many times people ask me if every thing is a part of blissful divine then why sadness, ignorance and submission envelope us most of the time. The answer to this is that Shakti of Brahma i.e. “Maya” covers and allures this dual world due to which we are not able to realize our true self. Since we are unaware of our potential thus feeling of incompleteness covers us. By Kundalini Yog we can remove the alluring cover of Maya making it possible for us to realize our true self.
