Seeking perfection

Inspiration Letter #49

Perfection is a state in which there is no fault, no flaw whatsoever. The question is can there be anything, any person, or any situation that can be said as perfect. There is only one surety here, that existence of perfection is not possible on the level of tangible experience in which we seek it. The chase to perfection leads to an anxious state as there will always be something that has to be taken care of, something to correct, scrutinize, and get perfected. Attaining perfection means focusing on the result which takes away our attention from the positive experiences of the moment.

An acquaintance of mine who is an event manager and got an opportunity to organize an event in Munnar (Kerala). After the successful completion of the event, I asked her how she found the place. She said that she was so busy and involved that she had no time to enjoy the hills. Then she confessed that she was continuously thinking about perfecting the event that she could not even enjoy the outings that were part of the event.

One may feel that it was imperative for her growth and career to be this focused on the event. Well, life is not just one event after another event. Life is happening within such experiences. To build a life that is rich and positive seek perfection in your inner world and the way it harmonizes with the outer events of life.

Health of your Chakras- Forgiveness and Compassion

Let your chakras be healed!!
Let your chakras be healed!!

“How can my Chakras be healed?”

A question frequently asked by practitioners. So much has been written and known about the chakras that as soon as a person enters into Sadhana, thinks of healing, activating and cleansing of chakras. There are lot many practices surrounding the same, various meditations, various breathing techniques and various color therapies. I do not say  this all do not work, certainly they do. But I cannot help thinking did Gautam Buddha, Mahavira, Swami Rama, Ramana Maharishi and many more who had experienced enlightenment and Kundalini Jangran, had gone through these processes.

Well, even I am not sure of the reality. But there something very basic which we may be missing. And that is just so simple yet so tough that we tend to ignore the biggest facts of Chakra healing.

While looking at the teachings and life’s of all the Great Masters, I find my answer. The two attributes of which I am sure all the spiritual awakened Masters attained was of Forgiveness and Compassion.

The two qualities that start removing the blocks and cleansing the whole system, the moment you accept them completely without any if’s or but’s.

Once a person came to Gautam Buddha for Deeksha. Buddha asked him “Can you accept all the world and every person as they are? The person said “Yes” on which Buddha said “Think again may be you have left someone out” The person replies”Yes there is this one nasty man in my neighbour, I just cannot accept him, other then that I have no problem with anyone. That one person cannot cause problem in my Deeksha I am sure” Buddha says “Leave the whole world you just need to accept that one person, and when you are ready, I will give you Deeksha”

Forgiveness and Compassion has to be extended to every person without any strings attached. Without having a slightest of doubt. Many people say this, that I have forgiven everyone in my life. But still they are not able to free their hearts from bitterness. It takes great learning and understanding to realize ALL people and circumstances are worthy of forgiveness. Miraculously Universe keeps on giving circumstances for you to learn these two main rules of it. A negative emotion will just keep visiting you till you have truly felt, accepted, forgiven and released. The more we suppress our negative emotions, the more ways they find out to meet us yet again on our path to freedom. We will never be able to grow without addressing them.  Just after forgiveness, comes the next step of compassion.

Every person has a journey, and most of the times we are unaware of the unhealed, broken parts of the other. How can an unhealed broken person behave, how frustrated he can be or how much anger has he been harboring within him. We make our own story around the behavior of the other. Having compassion means to forgive and then accept him, for as he is. Either you accept or not, you will be the only person experiencing it all. It is your call to experience negative or positive.

The whole energy system of your responds to your decision. If you hold the grudge, the energies will stop moving, cleansing and get stagnated affecting the health of your chakras. If you decide to let go, forgive and fill your heart with a free flow of love and compassion, your energies start to flow cleanse and there by activating your chakras.

You are the decision maker. Do you want your chakras to be healed?

Does surrendering to divine help me receive ‘The best’?

Beloved AD,
I am confused , i need clarification.
I am not able to grasp by myself.
Let me straight go to questions-
1) what is consciousness ?how to access it ? Is it possible to access it?Is it unknown?
2) what is awareness ?  What is observing? How to be aware   or observe without the separation between observer and observed?
3)what is the witness / sakshi bhava? Is  that the self or atman?
4) just surrendering to what”is” or allowing “what is” solve all conflicts or bring us the best?I know u r busy , but please I am waiting for u’r answer.
Thanks,
LB

Beloved LB,
Shivoham!
Thanks for your patience. I had been keeping busy and visiting extremely remote places.. places where having even mobile network was luxury. Finally you get your share of words here.
I would directly take up your question-

1) what is consciousness ?how to access it ? Is it possible to access it?Is it unknown?

The jargon of words apart; without using any technical words or spiritual vocabulary –

This state of knowing that you or this world exists is consciousness thus You as a whole are consciousness.
Since it is nothing but You there is no question of accessing it. It is only about staying rooted in this deep knowing that I am it.
Consciousness is not unknown – it is all the three; the ‘knower’, the process of ‘knowing’ and it is ‘known’ too.

2) what is awareness ?  What is observing? How to be aware   or observe without the separation between observer and observed?
Awareness is that state of consciousness where you are awake and open yourself completely to your state of “being”. This being of yours can be in any state like ‘doing things’, speaking, walking, listening, sleeping or even dreaming.
The mode of staying open to all which is around us, within us, in mind, body and beyond is ‘observing’. Tattva Shakti Vigyaan sadhana can come handy here to begin with as it increases your capacity to stay rooted in your spiritual endeavours also grace from Gurumandala works wonders.
Only way to get this perfected state where observer, observing and observed become one is ‘Keeping yourself aware uninterrupted as much and as long as you can.. there is no other way.

3)what is the witness / sakshi bhava? Is  that the self or atman?
The outcome of disinterested, wakeful awareness is Sakshi-Bhaava. It is neither self nor Atman but Yes, when you come in this perfected state you start getting glimpses of your true being. First time in your life you would get sweet taste (howsoever small that duration may be, depending upon your capacity of staying on the peak of that bhava) of inner bliss and immortality.
4) just surrendering to what”is” or allowing “what is” solve all conflicts or bring us the best?
Yes it does! But surrender happens only when you start getting to see the best in what you get. Complicated? Let me explain..
For all of those (including you) who think or feel that “surrendering” will solve all the conflicts and bring them ‘the best’ is a false notion because this sort of surrendering is nothing but just a mind-game. Suppose you get a firm news/call just now that you have been selected for a gift and in next two hours someone will deliver you 1 Crore rupees at your doorstep. But – The condition of this lottery/Gift is that you should be fast asleep when the person knocks the door. Now in such condition anyone would want to relax and sleep to get that 1 Cr however I know it is NOT possible for obvious reasons. It would lead you to pretending and deceit. In all your capacity you would try to sleep, fast asleep while internally you are eagerly waiting for your doorbell to ring! The one who can relax, sleep and surrender NOW gets the gift or in other words“He gets the gift who no more yearns for it.”
In the same way – when you say, I surrender because I want to get ‘the best’ or ‘trouble free life’, ‘divine hand to work for me’, ‘solve all the problems’; it is just pretending. Real surrender comes when you have been able to perfect forgiveness, fear of losing and gratitude for what you have or what you get – i say unto you that You can NOT force surrender upon yourself.

Message from Master for today!

|| Flower – Rise above the ordinary ||

Beloved Souls,

Today is Shraavani ( श्रावणी ) – A day being observed in Vedic community since time immemorial. On this day all the learned ones gather at the banks of holy rivers to take a dip and renew their resolve of protecting self, dharma (values) and nation. On this day all the teachers and learned ones (responsible for propagating knowledge and values) greet each other after achieving self-purification (आत्मशुद्धि).

Master sends out his wishes to all of you and suggests we become aware of our limiting beliefs, unhealthy patterns and inner-conflicts at least for today. “One moment of awareness can trigger a journey of life-time” Acharya ji adds.Hope you all will use this opportunity for self-introspection, make right choices to drive away the darkness of ignorance and achieve the achievable – being a source of love and light!

Air element to stimulate creativity within

Are you struggling with writer’s block or you are not able to infuse the much needed creativity in your assignments at workplace or home, than it is time that you connect with the Air element. There are many methods to do so. I am sharing some simple ones to stimulate your mind,

1. Make a hand made fan from yellow paper( Read more about the color here). Hold it for few moments in the rising smoke of incense sticks. Now sit in a comfortable position, preferably on a chair with feet flat on ground. Close your eyes and fan yourself with your hand made fan. Feel the air element increase your mental awareness and alertness. This is done best sitting in your balcony.

2. Meditating on a symbol is a very effective method. Meditate on the image of third eye below for at least 10 minutes to stimulate your conscious mind and connecting to your knowledge body.Image

3. Now a very relaxing method for you all. Just open up your arms and stand in a breeze. As the element gushes around you, it cleanses and activates every part of you pulling you out of mental slumber.

Who are good people?

“Tattva Shakti Vigyaan transforms people into good people. Is it so?“- Vijaya

It is difficult to answer your question in a single yes or no. First I don’t know what is your idea of good people and whom do you put in that category? Second how can I question the divine element present in every one of us.

Every person has positive and negative approach towards life. He may act in a positive and so-called good way in some situation and may act in negative or so-called bad in some situation in other. so which category do you put him into? Suppose I ask some Mr. X for help and he chooses to help me but chooses not to extend the same help to the other person, than he becomes good for me and bad for other. No person is completely black (bad) or white(Good), we have grey shades. That is the exact reason we are humans and not devils or gods. As soon  as I was asked this question, it came to my mind that “All people are good” And this thought came when the participants of my Tattva Shakti Vigyaan Level 1 Deeksha Camp came to my mind. So they were all good people. So what is the special touch of TSV? Tattva Shakti Vigyaan helps you to increase the diameter of your goodness circle and intensify it.

So the First law of Tattva Shakti Vigyaan that is A- All is one. It teaches the TSV practitioner the practice of seeing the spark, the divine element in every person. It changes the way you see people and situations in your life. Things do not remain frustrating but as you move on with the practices your heart knows about a new feeling of empathy. TSV helps you to connect with that part of your being that knows the oneness prevailing in the universe. You may still find some so-called good or bad people on your way but then you choose to drop the categorization.  You are transformed into a spiritually abundant person. A type of personality that you thought of and your soul craved for.
